COMING OUT PARTY FOR THE C6RS
By Dr. Greg Johnson

The street version of the C6R racing car, developed by Pratt and Miller Engineering, was pulled out from under silken wraps tonight at a special GM reception, part of this year’s SEMA extravaganza.   Gary and Robin Pratt along with many of their important staff attended the ceremony, hosted by GM’s Ed Pepper, unveiling the Corvette as a special gift for Tonight Show Host, and all around car nut, Jay Leno.  The reaction from everyone attending was that the car was just astounding!   P&M have figured out a way to pour the engineering passion they have for the famous and extremely successful C6R racing car into a street edition.  Under secret development this past year by the very engineers and craftsmen responsible for the C6R Corvette Racing success, the car was a surprise to everyone.  The C6RS sports a carbon fiber body reminiscent of the C6R and an interior that is swathed in luxurious leather.  With a revolutionary ground pounding 500 cu.in. small block Chevy engine, built by Katech Engineering the providers of the LS7.R Global Motorsports Engine of the year for 2006, putting out over 600 hp and 600 lb/ft of torque the P&M limited edition C6RS is lower, wider, faster, and quieter (inside) than a Corvette Z06.   The Pratt and Miller people have turned the Corvette world on it’s head with this very special car.   It has to be the ultimate Corvette!
